Corporate Finance Specialist

• Financial Modelling: Support financial modelling workstreams for our organization, including the development and maintenance of detailed financial models. These models will support budgeting, financing, capital planning, ratios analysis, and reporting, ensuring data integrity and maintaining a comprehensive audit trail of inputs.
• Integration and Reporting: Support in the Management Budget and Business Plan, monitoring ongoing financial and operational performance. Prepare periodic reporting materials that encompass essential financial KPIs, such as optimal leverage, financial covenants, S&P ratios, dividends distribution capacity, IRR, corporate valuation, and more.
• Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis, including sensitivity analysis to main business and macroeconomic drivers. This includes staying informed about market/regulatory developments. Use findings to support long-term strategic planning and closely collaborate with key stakeholders.
• Capital Structure Management: Assist in the management of the company's debt portfolio, including assessing current debt obligations and refinancing options by liaising with lenders. Assess and model various dividend distribution scenarios, including intra-group, to ensure that they align with the Company's financial objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Transaction Execution: Provide execution support in refinancing transactions, business cases for investment projects closely collaborating with key stakeholders, including advisers and lenders. Create high-quality content in PowerPoint, incorporating visuals and graphics suitable for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Energy Transition Projects: Collaborate with the Energy Transition Division, to develop new project business models. Prepare financial models for evaluation and financing purposes, including participation in European/Portuguese Energy Transition funding programs.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-4 years of relevant corporate finance experience, with a strong background in financial modelling, financial reporting, and strategic financial analysis.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools. Other financial analysis tools regarded as an advantage.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in creating compelling presentations.
• Team Player: A collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with colleagues from various departments.
• Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Initiative: Proactive with the ability to take ownership of tasks and projects.
• Software Skills: Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in both written and spoken English is required.
