As a part of a leading European investment bank, you will work within a fast-paced, innovative environment driving the intersection of finance and technology.ResponsibilitiesOversee SDLC processes, managing teams and coordinating BA/QA/Dev/Production support changesGuide and support a globally distributed team to achieve seamless project execution and collaborationCollaborate on architecture, design, and technology decisions, offering insights based on expertise and industry trendsCollaborate with production support teams to streamline release cycles and ensure robust system componentsDevelop real-time, event-driven applications that prioritize low-latency performanceMaintain adherence to test-driven development and continuous integration principlesCommunicate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable, efficient solutionsProvide insights into multithreading, garbage collection optimization, and advanced Java collectionsEncourage a problem-solving mindset and promote rapid learning of domain-specific knowledge within the teamRequirements7+ years of software development experience with expertise in Java core technologies including multithreading, garbage collection optimization, and concurrency collections2+ years of leadership experience in relevant rolesProficiency in real-time event-driven application development and familiarity with low-latency architecturesCompetency in test-driven development and continuous integration methodologiesStrong leadership capabilities and competency in managing the SDLC process across globally distributed teamsFluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skillsUnderstanding of agile environments and collaboration within cross-functional teamsNice to haveBackground in trading systems, financial services, or investment technology domainsFamiliarity with performance testing tools, system profiling, and optimization for live high-load systemsKnowledge of containerization, cloud platforms, or modern software delivery pipelinesWe offer/Benefits
