With 105 MW of cumulative capacity in operation or under advanced development and a multi-GW commercial pipeline globally, our client stands as the market leader in floating offshore wind technology.Position Overview: Our client are seeking a highly skilled Senior Installation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of the Installation Engineering Group, you will contribute to both ongoing commercial projects and pioneering R&D initiatives aimed at optimizing the performance and cost-efficiency of our Floating technology. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring safe, efficient installations while maintaining the reliability of our cutting-edge technology.Key Responsibilities:
  • Inform and review design methodologies to deliver reliable, safe, and cost-effective solutions for our client's floating offshore wind projects worldwide.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation for external stakeholders, primarily clients and suppliers, pertaining to the Transport and Installation (T&I) of Floating units.
  • Support technical advancements within the discipline through active involvement in commercial projects and R&D endeavors.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for both internal teams and external entities.
  • Ensure high-quality work products on projects through the application and enhancement of QAQC processes.
  • Gather and organize feedback and technical improvements for future projects, maintaining the group's position at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements through continuous technical monitoring and engagement with supply chain stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Oil and Gas or Marine Renewable Energy systems designs and/or offshore installation operations.
  • Experience coordinating and overseeing offshore work and marine operations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
  • Strong reporting skills in English, both oral and written.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and persistence in achieving objectives.
  • Demonstrated ownership of proposed technical solutions.
  • Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and supervise engineering work.
  • Proven ability to thrive in multicultural and diverse environments.

  • Education Required: Master of Science or above in a relevant field of engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Naval Engineering, etc.).
