We value autonomy, flexibility, diversity, and continuous learning — empowering you to grow without compromising your work-life balance.The role:As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work autonomously within empowered, multidisciplinary teams to tackle complex challenges. You’ll own key areas of the product and technology stack, lead architectural decisions, write high-quality code, and mentor colleagues. Your impact will be felt by millions of users globally.Key Responsibilities:Design and build scalable, reliable systems that support high traffic.Lead technical initiatives and guide the team on best practices.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.Mentor and support the growth of other engineers.Collaborate across teams to deliver robust solutions.Participate in on-call rotations and ensure system stability.Your Qualifications:Proven experience designing and building complex backend or full-stack systems, with Go or modern backend languages (e.g., Kotlin, Java, Python etc.).Strong knowledge of system architecture, APIs, databases, messaging, containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).Skilled in CI/CD, automated testing, version control (Git), and security best practices.Excellent problem-solving, ownership, and communication skills.Experience with Go is not mandatory, but potential and interest in working with it is required.Bonus: experience with observability tools, infrastructure-as-code, high-availability systems, and mentoring engineers.What you can expect:Company bonusHealth insurance for you and your householdUp to 30 days of annual leave + 2 social responsibility days per yearWork abroad for up to 20 daysInnovative parental policies and baby kit for new parentsFlexible working environmentMobile allowance – phone + dataShares discountMeal allowanceEmployee referral programLearning and development toolsPartnerships and discountsIf you want to solve large-scale challenges and shape the future of a global platform, join Blip and make an impact.We are based in Estonia and Cyprus, and we operate globally.
