- Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines in SQL and Python to ensure efficient data flow within our HR data lake;
- Data Modelling: Design stable data models (e.g Star Schemas);
- Utilization of Data Bricks: Leverage Data Bricks for data processing and management tasks, ensuring efficient handling of large datasets;
- Data Quality Assurance: Implement data governance principles to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and availability of data for analysis and reporting;
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements for data access and management;
- Collaboration with Data Teams: Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists on shared projects, contributing to the development of data-driven HR solutions;
- Mentoring: In addition to core responsibilities, this associate is also expected to mentor and support other team members, contributing to their growth and the overall success of the team.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Experience: Strong experience in data engineering, with a proficiency in SQL/Python and data modeling. Familiarity with data pipeline tools and ETL processes. Experience with Data Bricks is a plus;
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of data quality and governance principles. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and usability;
- Languages: Fluent in English (C1 level), with German as an asset;
- Personality: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.
