To know more about us click here.The mission of this role:Working within our global category purchasing team. Responsible for strategy and sourcing of display and optical components. Represent Visteon towards our suppliers, and act as escalation point for supplier issues. Drive supplier performance towards KPI targets. Major KPI being cost performance, and so understanding of cost drivers, and ability to negotiate win:win solutions is key. Working as part of our global team, with suppliers distributed globally.Key Year One Deliverables:

Take lead on global negotiations, and grow experience and respect with global stakeholders.

Key Objectives of this Role:

Supporting and driving Purchasing Objectives during Gate 0 / 1 reviews;
Drive Commodity bid lists updates;
Use relevant technical requirements and work with key suppliers to find optimum trade-offs for lowest total cost solution utilizing the TQCM initiative;
Responsible for the development and implementation of commodity strategies to delivery maximum competitive advantage;
Benchmarking, rationalization, development and management of critical and strategic suppliers;
Supplier evaluation and selection, and relationship management;
Support new business pursuits and maintain database of key supplier technology capabilities;
Execute best in class sourcing process to secure sourcing nomination of optimal total cost solution to support Visteon programs, through regional/global supplier quotations, negotiations and successful contract management;

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

University Degree, Business Management or similar preferred
2.5 years in responsible roles within an international business environment and procurement/purchasing lead experience
Proven knowledge of category strategies
Effective negotiation skill
Value Chain analysis
Supplier evaluation / selection
Effective presentation skills and Strong communication skills
Advanced interpersonal skills and experience in multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams
English fluent, second foreign language skills a plus
