Job Category: AnalyticsJob Description:Join us as a Senior Engineer for Nokia's Data Center Fabric (DCF) and play a key role in deploying cutting-edge network solutions. You'll work hands-on with Nokia's SR Linux, data centre switches and routers, and the EDA portfolio to support and deliver robust, automated, and scalable data centre networks.In this role, you'll collaborate with architects, integration teams, and customers to design, validate, and troubleshoot solutions - including 3rd-party components where needed. It's a great fit if you're passionate about both architecture and hands-on engineering, and eager to make an impact across design, delivery, and support.You'll be part of the Partner Enablement team, helping elevate our partners' capabilities and success in delivering enterprise-ready solutions.Responsibilities:
  • Be part of customer-facing DCF engagements, support in architecture activities and technical troubleshooting.
  • Participate in high- and low-level design reviews, and validation for customer deployments.
  • Provide guidance on Nokia's validated Data Center Fabric design best practices and solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system-level issues in multi-vendor, multi-domain environments.
  • Reproduce customer issues in a lab setting, validate fixes, and manage escalations with R&D.
  • Support the full life cycle of Data Center Fabric deployments - from integration, staging, and testing, through to post-deployment operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Product Line Management, Care, and Pre-sales to ensure successful solution adoption and satisfaction.
  • Maintain ongoing customer interaction to provide updates, guidance, and maintain alignment with SLAs.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in IP networking, with a focus on data center fabric solutions and routing technologies.
  • Knowledge of L2/L3 protocols like BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, EVPN, VXLAN, MPLS, and related technologies.
  • Familiarity with Data Center design principles (leaf-spine, Clos fabrics, intent-based networking).
  • Experience with real-world deployment issues (system-level, underlay/overlay, multi-vendor).
  • Experience with automation and management platforms (YANG, REST, gNMI, Ansible, Python, API, YAML).
  • Experience with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS and Azure
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware, Openstack, container networking.
  • Hands-on experience with Nokia SR Linux and SROS Nokia routers.
  • Familiarity with lab environments and the ability to replicate customer scenarios for issue isolation.
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills, with experience supporting external clients.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as Nokia Data Center Fabric Professional, NRS I/II are assets.
