We are growing our team and looking for those interested in pursuing this dream with us and joining an ever-developing journey.THE ROLEAs Controlling Manager, we are looking for a very hands-on, high analytical profile with exceptional leadership skills. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, this role gives you exposure to the company's business model and the opportunity to implement and improve the management control procedures of Indie Campers. A business-driven oriented profile with experience in digital companies will be valued.WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
  • Lead, manage, develop and supervise the business controlling team
  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders of the company and the corporate finance team to build a comprehensive budget
  • Design, implement and oversee the process for approval of expenses and control versus budget
  • Provide leadership with recurrent management report for better decision making
  • Perform specific analysis and provide adequate support and recommendations to the management team for decision making
  • Create processes and procedures for accurate validation of accounting financial statements
  • Have a deep understanding of the business and work collaboratively with the accounting department to properly reflect business into accounting statements and management reports
  • Conduct audits to verify if established business processes are being conducted as established
  • Ensuring realistic rolling forecasts and gap analysis as an early warning system
  • Preparation of regular and ad-hoc internal and external reports, identification of key trends
  • Participating in the design and implementation of various financial models for assessing business efficiency and return on investment
  • Identify the deviations to the budget and opportunities for cost savings
  • Assist on the implementation of a FP&A culture in the company
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • Bachelor or Master in Management, Economics or Finance
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience in financial or process audit, FP&A, management control or business intelligence/reporting
  • Business-oriented mindset
  • Ambition and relentless drive, being proactive in the pursuit of sources of value
  • Fast learner and Tech-savvy, eager to implement new procedures with new tools to improve efficiency through automation of tasks
  • Results-driven with attention to detail, being autonomous and responsible for deliverables
  • Leadership skills and ability to coordinate a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines
  • Fluent in English (mandatory);
  • Outstanding at solving complex problems that require logical reasoning and good intuition;
  • Able to work in a highly dynamic and international environment;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Spreadsheets and interest in Data / Business Intelligence
  • Good understanding of general accounting rules and general understanding of accounting processes and systems
  • Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus
