We are looking for a Database Specialist to join a hybrid project based in Lisbon. This role is ideal for professionals with strong SQL expertise and experience in data modeling, seeking to contribute to the design, administration, and optimization of relational databases in a collaborative and evolving environment.Tasks

Administer and maintain SQL databases across development and production environments
Design and optimize database structures to support system performance and data integrity
Implement data models and support integration with other systems
Monitor performance, ensure availability, and troubleshoot database issues
Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure effective data usage and governance

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
3+ years of experience in SQL database administration
Strong skills in relational data modeling and normalization
Experience with performance tuning, backups, and recovery procedures
Ability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
