Join a team that values your growth as much as you do, and together, let's shape the future of technology.We are looking for a Linux Automation Engineer to integrate a hybrid project in Lisbon.Salary range: up to 32.000€ annual gross.Profile:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Information Systems/Technology;
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification;
- Strong expertise in Ansible, with a solid track record of developing playbooks and leading automation projects;
- Practical experience designing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform or a similar IaC tool;
- Deep knowledge of Linux server environments, including scripting (e.g. shell scripting), service configuration, user and permission management, system updates and package handling;
- Good understanding of system and application security, with hands-on experience implementing hardening measures and conducting security audits;
- Familiarity with managing end-to-end system deployments, from planning to execution, ideally within Red Hat or similar Linux-based environments;
- Strong problem-solving skills with proven ability to diagnose and resolve issues across systems, services and network components;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain automation solutions using Ansible to streamline infrastructure and operational tasks;
- Implement and manage cloud or on-prem infrastructure using Terraform or equivalent tools;
- Administer and optimise Linux systems, ensuring stability, performance and security;
- Develop and maintain scripting solutions to support system management and deployment processes;
- Enforce and monitor security best practices, including system/application hardening and periodic security audits;
- Lead or support system implementation projects, ensuring efficient delivery and adherence to standards;
- Troubleshoot complex system and service issues, providing effective resolutions and root cause analysis;
- Collaborate with other engineers and teams to ensure best practices are shared and followed across the organisation.We offer:
