We are looking for an outstanding Lead C++ Developer to strengthen our Electronic Trading team in Lisbon.You will play a key role in advancing a cutting-edge ultra-low latency algorithmic trading platform with state-of-the-art hardware integration, optimized processor utilization, and advanced features of C++ (C++17/20). This is an exciting chance to redefine technological limits through collaboration with a global, multi-location team.ResponsibilitiesDesign new algorithmic models and frameworks optimized for ultra-low latency tradingDevelop exchange connectors, market data distribution systems, and platform componentsEnsure consistent platform stability through support, bug resolution, and CI/CD processesFoster collaboration with global engineering, business, and support teams to enhance systemsDeliver innovative technical solutions for complex trading challengesPush performance boundaries using optimized hardware and software resourcesUphold high-quality code standards and follow architectural best practicesOffer technical leadership while mentoring team membersAddress critical challenges in trading system scalability and reliabilityOversee the full development lifecycle, from prototyping to deploymentConduct code reviews to validate robust design and functionalityRequirements5+ years of software development experience in trading or similar industriesExpertise in contemporary C++ (11/14/17/20), with STL and Boost proficiencyStrong understanding of design principles, algorithms, and data structuresCompetency in Linux, including tools like cmake, gcc, and gdbBackground in ultra-low latency systems or performance optimization techniquesFamiliarity with financial protocols such as FIX or other fintech technologiesGood written and spoken English for effective global communicationNice to haveBackground in Unix scripting languages such as bash or PythonFamiliarity with financial protocols, including FIX, or tools related to fintech developmentWe offer/Benefits
