And for this, we are looking for you!As an Engineering Lead, you will be accountable for ensuring that the team you will be managing is focused on delivering products with solid architecture and quality, and that they ship high-quality code that is stable, scalable, and secure.While you ensure your team meets their deliverables and track their progress, you will also work on aligning priority roadmap tasks, and refining delivery plans. You will do this in collaboration with the Product Manager, as you will both work on creating an ambitious, rewarding mission and vision for the team, bringing the engineering point of view into the product and the product mindset into the engineering team.You will act as your team's main voice and spokesperson, understanding and communicating their challenges and problems, and then translating these into potential solutions to be implemented. You will need to be part of architectural decisions and reach out to principals to push for cross-team alignment.Effective communication is key in this role. You will be expected to transmit your vision to your peers, and other colleagues with overarching roles. As a result, you will create synergies that optimize your team's development and performance, and result in a clearer alignment and delivery compromise between product strategy, engineering culture, and stakeholder requests.In your day-to-day work, you will start with a list of requests and responsibilities, and you will be responsible for managing your team's wellbeing and productivity, as well as deciding on and prioritizing their tasks. In addition to having a product-oriented mindset and good team management skills, you will need to be able to give feedback to drive topics forward in the required direction. As a result, you will be expected to help your team to find alternative solutions to solve problems and celebrate and recognize their achievements.Every team has its own rituals. You will have regular syncs with your team, to organize tasks, and to help them work through possible blockers or dependencies. At tb.lx, we always support each other. It is also important for you to know that you will inspire and motivate others and be a go-person for your team.A stable, high-quality product is the entire team's responsibility, but as an Engineering Lead, you are responsible for your whole team, in all aspects. This means you will empower your team members by trusting them with tasks and projects based on their expertise and ambitions.WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

Several years of experience in Software Engineering;
Experience leading teams, from a technical perspective, using a people-first, servant leadership style;
Experience acting as a main facilitator of growth, by helping engineers set goals, and coaching them to reflect on and be accountable for their own progress;
You've previously worked with some of our tech stack: Spring Boot, Kotlin (or Java), Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD Pipelines (Azure);
Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Scrum, etc.), as well as familiarity with guidelines, and best practices for these;
Experience with deep trade-off thinking when making technical decisions;
Experience working in a feedback and knowledge-sharing driven culture;
Passion for understanding people, conflicts, and the solutions needed to solve them;
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
