For our business, for clients, and for youSummary of role:The role is part of the Apex accounting team reporting to the Partners based in Lisbon.This role will manage the accounting team together with other managers and reporting directly to the Partners based in Lisbon. It will be responsible for supervising one or more teams and to which the senior consultants will report to. It will be manage and assure the quality of the services provided to the client portfolio and drive the team development, meeting the KPIs and implement solutions.The Role & Key Responsibilities:

Support and oversee one or more accounting teams
Support the senior consultants on their tasks to be performed
Assure the accounting, tax and reporting deadlines are met
Support on more complex technical matters
Client relationship and as well with other stakeholders
Support on internal group requirements and reports

Skills Required:

University degree in accounting or finance
At least 5 years of accounting experience with significant exposure to Portuguese tax compliance role and Portuguese GAAP
Fluent Portuguese and English (written & conversational)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with accounting ERP’s
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions and make decisions
Strong communication, influence and interpersonal skills
Organised and accurate in working methodologies
