As the IT Operations Manager, your responsibilities include overseeing our systems landscape and infrastructure. You handle tasks such as installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Your primary goal is to ensure optimal availability of our systems and infrastructure. Reporting directly to the Technology Director, you also manage device and password administration, as well as supervise a team of helpdesk technicians and systems administrators. Your expertise in IT performance management, network administration, system security, and familiarity with data protection regulations are essential. Your role is critical in maintaining secure, consistent, and reliable infrastructure and IT systems.What you need to succeed
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a relevant field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Proficiency in system installation, configuration, and analysis.
- Proven track record in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting on-premise, virtualized, and cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with data protection operations and legislation (e.g., GDPR)

- Experience with Microsoft OS and technology stack.
- Familiarity with virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Virtual Box).
- Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., PRTG, Nagios).
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python).
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP, LDAP, NAT).
- Understanding of firewall configuration (e.g., Palo Alto).
