- At least 5 years of professional experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel;
- Solid understanding of Laravel ecosystem, including Eloquent ORM and service architecture;
- Experience designing and implementing APIs with GraphQL;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, including database modelling and optimisation;
- Skilled in writing clean, maintainable and testable code;
- Hands-on experience with PHPUnit for automated unit testing;
- Proficiency with version control tools, especially Git and GitLab;
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines;
- Ability to mentor and guide junior developers;
- Experience working in Agile environments;
- Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving mindset;
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.Responsibilities:
- Mentor and technically support the PHP Backend Development Team;
- Design, develop and maintain backend systems using PHP, Laravel, Eloquent and GraphQL;
- Create and manage scalable database models using Microsoft SQL Server;
- Develop efficient APIs and implement GraphQL for data queries;
- Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit testing with PHPUnit;
- Write clear and concise technical documentation for internal use;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners and UI/UX Designers;
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives;
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to integrate CI/CD pipelines;
- Use Jira and GitLab for project tracking, issue management and code versioning.We offer:
