Do you know Mootiva?We are seeking a motivated Senior Java Developer. As a Senior Java Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Java-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java development, along with experience in system architecture, design patterns, and best practices.Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable Java applications, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Participate in architectural design discussions and provide valuable insights to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.
Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and other system issues.
Write automated tests to validate the functionality and performance of the software components.
Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Java development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience of 5 years as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java EE or Spring framework.
Extensive experience in designing and developing enterprise-level applications using Java technologies.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and data structures.
Proficiency in SQL and relational database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with web services (RESTful, SOAP) and API development.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Spring Certification) are a plus.
Native in Portuguese and professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
