As our Experienced Test Manager, you'll be key to shaping testing at Siemens Financial Services. This isn't just an oversight job; it's a hands-on role where your strategic thinking will define and improve our testing approach using the best methods. Your technical skills will directly boost product quality. You'll help build a culture of constant improvement, making sure our testing is strong and flexible enough for the financial industry's changing needs.

Setting & Guiding Best Practices:

Create, define, and continuously improve test strategies and methods, making sure they fit the specific needs of each project at Siemens Financial Services.
Hands-On Testing & Technical Work:

Actively work on designing, developing, and executing complex test cases, especially for critical financial applications.
Analyze defects deeply, find their root causes, and verify fixes.
Support to automation engineers on creation and maintenance of test automation scripts
Clear Communication & Teamwork:

Act as testing embassador and facilitator, connecting technical teams, project leads, service owners, and business stakeholders across SFS.
Clearly explain test results, quality metrics, risks, and recommendations to everyone, from technical experts to senior leaders.
Help different teams work together smoothly to achieve quality goals.
Driving Change & Improvement:

Lead and drive organizational changes related to testing processes, tools, and methods. You'll plan, communicate, and execute these changes to ensure successful adoption of new best practices.
Find ways to improve processes and lead initiatives to implement them, ensuring smooth transitions and big benefits.
Stay updated on new trends and technologies in software testing, seeing how they can help us in financial services.

We are looking for...

Extensive experience (7+ years) in software testing, with a significant part spent in a senior role overseeing testing.
Proven ability to create and implement tailored testing strategies and best practices** for different projects.
Strong hands-on experience in various testing types (e.g., functional, integration, system, regression, acceptance)
Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC), ideally in Agile/Scrum environments.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) to present complex information clearly and influence stakeholders.
Experience coordinating and driving change initiatives in technical settings. You know how to handle resistance and build agreement.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Certifications like ISTQB Advanced Level and proficiency with test coordination tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM Octane) are a plus
