Control & Automation Engineer

• Analysis and validation of customer specifications
• Participates in customer meeting (together with Project Manager Execution)
• Gathering information required to finalize execution projects
• Managing the correct electrical integration of Sidel and Third parties equipment
• Defines and validates conveyor / machine interfaces (Electrical and Automation) with suppliers or the customer
• Defines and validates the Ethernet network layout of the project with customer and machine suppliers
• Defines necessary electrical and automation components for conveyor control (PLCs, frequency Inverter, Sensors, HMI, etc...)
• Gathering all electrical information for Sidel power distribution system for the complete line
• Liaise with Sidel conveyors manufacturing sites for the conveyors supply
• Prepare and distribute technical specifications for the conveyors electrical and automation manufacturing
• Defines the principles of conveyor and line operation and writes the detailed functional analysis of the project

• Technical diploma or University degree in Electrical and Automation Engineering
• Mastery of automation and industrial communication networks
• Good electrical knowledge
• Knowledge of PLCs range from the main suppliers (Siemens, Allen-Bradley)
• Knowledge of frequency inverter range from the main suppliers (SEW, Danfoss)
• Knowledge of CAD environment (autocad), and PC Office
• Software proficient : Office automation (Excel, Word, etc), Microsoft Visio
• Linguistic competence: fluent French & English (other languages as German or Italian are a plus)

• Technical Competence in beverage lines layouts or comparable industrial system
• Knowledge of conveying system and associated concepts
• Knowledge of CAD environment and PC Office
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visio
• Understanding and utilization of engineering technical terminology
• Teamwork ability
• Availability for short term business trip within Europe

• Basic knowledge of mechanical
• Basic knowledge of the CE Norms and Regulations will be appreciated

• Knowledge of process within beverage industries
