Descrição da FunçãoFor our two Michelin Star Pastry Kitchen we are looking for personable, passionate and driven Pastry Demichefs de PartieKey Responsibilities:
-Support & assist the Pastry Chef de Partie & Pastry Chef
-Step in to oversee in the Chef de Partie's absence, maintaining the same level of quality and efficiency
-Execute mise en place and cooking tasks as per instructions
-Ensure and maintain precision, consistency and attention to detail in all pastry items
-Work closely with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of all pastry items
-Guide and train Commis Chefs, ensuring they understand and perform their tasks correctly
-Adapt to last-minute changes, special guest requests, or dietary requests with efficiency and creativity
-Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standardsPerfil do CandidatoThe ideal candidate will be well-versed in culinary arts with a passion for sweet and delicious creations. They must adhere to health and safety standards to provide clients with the best possible serving.
The goal is to enhance customer satisfaction so that we can maintain and expand our clientele.Requirements and skills:
-Fluent in English, German and/or Portuguese are a plus
-Experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants, specifically in pastry or dessert preparation
-Formal culinary training or equivalent hands-on experience
-Familiarity with ingredient quality control and mise en place management
-Keen attention for detail, ensuring consistency and excellence in every pastry dish
-Excellent organization skills and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
-Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across the kitchen team
-Leadership potential to supervise and guide junior staff such as Commis Chefs
-Creativity and attention to detail in designing and executing pastry presentations
-Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
-Familiarity with health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining impeccable hygiene standards
-Passionate about gastronomy, with a commitment to upholding the highest culinary standards
