- Deliver timely group and local reporting for assigned cluster, working closely with Country Accountants and General Ledger Associates (ensuring completeness and correctness of Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss, prepare Cash-Flow reporting and respective period-to-period variance analysis on actuals, prepare disclosures).
- Drive delivery of external audit for assigned scope
- Ensure timely delivery of indirect, direrct tax and other local reporting obligations, acting as reviewer/approver for Tier 3 entities indirect tax reporting.
- Cooperate closely with tax advisor to ensure timely preparation of direct tax reporting
- Ensure integrity of balance sheet - responsible for preparation of high-risk/Tier1&2 entity account reconciliations, act as reviewer of medium/Tier 3 entity reconciliation, drive resolution of aged items.
- Secure compliance according to internal procedures and legislation, act as reviewer of Tier 3 entities internal controls.
- Act as subject matter expert for accounting and reporting processes, as well as tax related matters (resolving more complex queries, leading small cross-functional improvement projects, system implementation, team upskilling, etc.).
- Engage with business and GBS stakeholders, driving regular updates to ensure alignment and achieving overall goals.
- Act as mentor for junior team members.
- Act as backup for RTR Team Lead.
- Master's degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Additional accounting certification is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in working with IFRS and local standards.
- Experience in Tax (Direct and Indirect) accounting and compliance.
- Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage.
- Strong communication skills - effectively communicating key data, including presentations to management.
- Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving - being able to work with limited guidance, manage ambiguity and pressure effectively, cope well with setbacks.
- Keen analytic - being able to translate complex financial concepts to finance and non-finance colleagues
