- Prepare, submit, and track applications for operational authorisations and cross-border permits under Regulation (EU) 2019/947;
- Design SORAs in line with JARUS guidelines (AMC1 to Art 11) and tailor mitigations to every operation and ConOps;
- Help maintain the Operations Manual and compliance records, including updating these as operations or mitigations evolve;
- Act as a liaison with DGAC (France) and other National Aviation Authorities for audits, renewals, and clarifications;
- Monitor and implement regulatory updates, Pre-Defined Risk Assessments (PDRAs), and LUC privileges.
- Design operational flight areas and manage controlled airspace overlays according to regulatory and safety requirements;
- Conduct pre-site reconnaissance, obstacle assessment, and geospatial analysis;
- Conduct site surveys based on Safety Manager requirements;
- Lead safety briefings and ensure compliance with airspace, privacy, and insurance laws.
- Assist in safety training and updating best practices for SORA drafting, site surveys, and compliance;
- Conduct or support emergency response drills and post-incident reviews.
- Bachelor’s degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field;
- 2-3 years of experience in UAS regulatory compliance, drone site surveying;
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with EU drone regulations (2019/947 & 2019/945), SORA, and operational risk analyses;
- Fluent in English (including technical documentation);
- Technical writing and stakeholder communication skills;
- Postgraduate coursework in Aeronautics, Aviation Safety, or engineering field;(Preferred)
- Experience with international (cross-border) permits and audits;(Preferred)
- Familiarity with LUC privileges, PDRA packages; (Preferred)
- Experience with safety or compliance audits and training; (Preferred)
