- Develop modern, scalable cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform (Terragrunt), and EKS.
- Design, build, and maintain infrastructure following best practices with a strong sense of ownership.
- Utilize ArgoCD, Atlantis, and other GitOps tools to drive automation and infrastructure consistency.
- Automate everything — from provisioning to deployment — to ensure repeatability and reliability.
- Improve and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, and support development teams in delivering with speed and quality.
- Use GitHub for version control and effective collaboration.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance by sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Collaborate in a culture of continuous improvement, always striving to raise the bar.
- Contribute to a team that values clean code, automation, documentation, and ownership.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with AWS, including core services such as EKS, EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, and RDS, with a focus on usage optimization.
- Apply deep knowledge of Terraform (ideally with Terragrunt) and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
- Work with Kubernetes in production environments, showcasing strong and practical experience.
- Utilize GitOps workflows using tools like ArgoCD and Atlantis.
- Manage Helm charts effectively, including templating and integration into GitOps pipelines.
- Use GitHub proficiently for version control and collaborative development.
- Write efficient scripts or code, particularly in Python.
- Analyze and optimize cloud costs across multiple environments and teams.
- Automate processes to reduce manual tasks and improve reliability.
- Follow and promote best practices related to security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
- Support and mentor fellow engineers, sharing knowledge and fostering team growth.
- Communicate complex ideas effectively in fluent English (fluency is required);
- Knowledge of German is a plus.
