About the job
  • You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day interactions between RISK (BNP Paribas Group’s risk function) and Supervisors, especially European Central Bank (ECB). You will also provide support and expertise to RISK teams in dealing with supervisory requests and inspections
  • You will be part of the Supervisory Affairs team which is the cornerstone of the Supervisory Relationship Management. The team is composed of 5 analysts, 4 based in Paris and 1 in Lisbon
Your Main Activities Are
  • Qualifies Supervisors / Regulators’ requests and coordinates RISK teams contributions to ensure swift, accurate and consistent responses
  • Moderates, leads and ensures progress of RISK working groups to address Supervisory consultations, requirements and assessments
  • Support the coordination of Supervisory inspection missions
  • Informs the management of RISK of supervisory requests involving their teams and escalates difficulties or attention points as deemed necessary
  • Ensures proper audit track of the communication to Supervisors / Regulators
  • Ensures alignment with local supervisory teams to make sure the Group message towards supervisors is consistent and accurate
  • As a Supervisory Affairs Analyst, you will interact frequently with Chief Risk Officers, RISK teams, Finance & Strategy, Compliance, General Inspection and Businesses. You will also work in a best-in-class risk analysis team, in an international and dynamic environment
Profile and Skills to Success
  • Maters Degree in Finance / Economics / Engineering and/or Management
  • At least 4 years of experience in risk management
  • Advanced level of English, both written and oral
  • Ability to collaborate / teamwork
  • Communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to inspire others and generate people’s commitment
  • Ability to manage a project
