- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap for floating offshore wind, in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and technical experts to drive innovation and technological advancements.
- Identify emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in offshore wind technology, and develop strategies to address them.
- Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with industry leaders, research institutions, and government agencies to leverage expertise and resources.
- Oversee the design, testing, and validation of new technologies and solutions, ensuring they meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, business development, and operations teams, to ensure seamless integration of new technologies into projects and operations.
- Master's degree or higher in Engineering or related field.
- Extensive experience in offshore wind technology, with a focus on floating offshore wind.
- Proven track record of leading successful technology development and innovation initiatives in the renewable energy sector.
- Strong technical expertise in areas such as structural engineering, hydrodynamics, aerodynamics, materials science, and data analytics.
- Strategic thinking and vision, with the ability to anticipate future trends and developments in the industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations with internal and external stakeholders.
