- Take the lead role for all executional aspects of the project.
- Lead, guide, mentor, delegate and manage the work of junior members of the Creative Team. Motivate others with thought-proving ideas.
- Provide timely feedback to the junior team, so that they can “refine” their conceptualization and art direction.
- Effectively communicate throughout the Agency.
- Have confident communications & interpersonal skills in order to clearly communicate (verbally and in written form) key messages to a wide variety of audiences (client and internal team), and to advocate the team's ideas.
- Excellent presentation skills. Able to craft inspiring and clear decks to present the team's work.
- Persuasive ability to influence, motivate and sell brilliant ideas to others.
- Ensure the adequacy of the creative product. Review and approve artwork developed by other team members.
- Keeps the team up to date on important information like the progress of tasks.
- Well-prepared for any changes with contingency plans.
- Ability to confidently manage multiple projects at the same time and be focused on their own objectives.
- Ability to work autonomously, and happy to team with other creatives when it is necessary, even if they are not art directors.
- Speak out and value during larger brainstorms for fast-turnaround briefs.
- Hungry to deliver exceptional work, not necessarily to win major awards, and help the agency grow.
- Ability to work with the Client Service department to ensure each project, in accordance with briefing, are clearly outlined.
