- Actively lead the restaurant floor, maintaining a strong and visible presence to engage with guests, recognize team efforts, resolve issues, and ensure a warm and memorable dining experience.
- Supervise and support daily service operations, ensuring all food, beverage, and service standards are met with consistency and excellence.
- Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and other key leaders to refine the menu, curate the wine list, and uphold the restaurant’s culinary vision and concept.
- Ensure seamless coordination across departments by participating in regular operational meetings.
- Manage financial performance through effective labor scheduling, inventory control, purchasing, and cost management aligned with budgetary guidelines.
- Select, onboard, coach, and develop a high-performing team of assistant managers and line staff; provide ongoing training, motivation, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations and uphold all hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with local regulations and brand policies.
- Execute administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- During high-demand periods, support service teams by stepping into operational roles such as Server, Food Runner, or Bartender when needed.
- Lead recruitment efforts and support disciplinary processes while fostering a culture of respect, excellence, and continuous improvement.
- A degree in hospitality or restaurant management (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in upscale or fine-dining restaurant operations, preferably within a luxury or high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service, cost and labor controls, menu development, wine and spirits, and guest relations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Computer proficiency and experience with POS and F&B management systems.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
