- Act in the technical advisor with all the principals for cloud-native solutions, guiding teams through architectural decisions and ensuring best practices are followed;
- Spearhead the development and implementation of our multi-cloud strategy, ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost efficiency;
- Partner with business stakeholders, data teams, and application teams to align solutions with business goals and provide technical mentorship and governance on AI solutions architectures;
- Champion DevOps practices across the teams/projects, building, maintaining, monitoring and optimizing AI/ML CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid and reliable software delivery;
- Enable observability, performance tuning, model versioning, and rollback strategies;
- Collaborate with data scientists to operationalize ML models in production and lead cloud solution architecture for AI workloads, including compute, storage, networking, and security;
- Drive security-first thinking in our cloud infrastructure, implementing robust security measures and ensuring compliance with Siemens, industry standards and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA);
- Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to evaluate new technologies and frameworks that could benefit our cloud ecosystem;
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures that support our cloud operations.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Extensive experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions;
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and containerization;
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates;
- Strong knowledge of serverless computing architectures, multithreading and related services;
- Strong background in cloud security principles and best practices;
- Advanced Python programming skills for automation and tool development;
- Strong understanding of software development, the best practices and design patterns (language agnostic);
- Solid knowledge of data engineering and streaming tools;
- Proven expertise in cloud-native AI/ML frameworks/pipelines. Examples: SageMaker, Azure ML, Vertex AI;
- Hands-on experience with MLOps. Examples: MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow, CI/CD tools, etc;
- GenAI - based cloud solutions like OpenAI, Bedrock, etc;
- Experience with prompt engineering, LLM usage and best practices;
- Understanding of storage solutions and data lifecycle management;
- Understanding of API gateway implementations and management;
- Experience with message queuing systems;
- Ability to work in a self-organized team;
- Strong orientation to the customer is key;
- Experience leading technical teams and mentoring junior engineers;
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
- Fluent in English, speaking, reading, and writing (mandatory);
- Experience with Microsoft Teams chatbots/integrations (it would be a plus).
