As a Global Talent Scout, you will be akin to an in-house Head-hunter, responsible for creating business critical, senior level and niche external talent pools. This role is based on business need and linked to overall business strategy. You will have the ability to work at senior levels in the organisation to engage, inspire, persuade and influence.Accountabilities:In this role, you will establish the external Talent sourcing strategy for a business area with a medium to long term view (1-3 years). You will work in partnership with HR Business Partners to shape and deliver integrated people strategies with a specific accountability for talent pipelining. You will establish a rich external talent pool, directly linked to key roles/critical skills in AZ and ensuring a successful conversion of talent pool candidates into hires. You will build a validated managed pipeline of external candidates and actively promote and shares with the talent acquisition teams to reduce costs and time to hire.Essential Skills/Experience:Previous experience of working as an internal talent scout or as a head-hunter/senior Researcher/Executive Search Consultant and/or significant pharma talent acquisition experienceProven Therapy Area/Capability Area experience, gained in an equivalent Pharma/Biotech business or extensive supplier side pharma/biotech workEstablished Therapy Area/Capability Area talent networkStrong business/pharma industry acumenTalent Acquisition PartneringTalent Acquisition ExpertiseCampaign Planning & Candidate ExperienceImpact & InfluenceTalent Pipeline Building and Talent NurturingLearning AgilityDesirable Skills/Experience:Business Degree or equivalentAt least 1 other languageExperience of using a of digital tools to source, engage and manage talent/clients.Good overview of the drug development and commercialisation processExperience of applying external head-hunting approaches internally to aide strategic internal talent development strategiesWhen we put unexpected teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
