From the IT Operation hub in Lisbon, Portugal, you will closely work together with the other hubs in Americas and APA. You can quickly grow in gaining expert knowledge on new technologies and root cause analysis. We are continuously adopting the lean agile methodology and touching new work movement ideas. If you proofed your expertise and skills already in level 1 and level 2 support teams, this is your opportunity to grow.The Role:You will operate, administrate and design systems architecture, applications, products, services, and data to optimize and automate SAP's business processes to improve work efficiency. You will engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Facilitate the system/service/product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant, and high available operations. You will engage with the business in an agile way. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation.Key tasks are:

Planning, setup, implementation, and operation of SAP technologies
Definition of technical operational concepts and guidelines for the implemented SAP landscapes incl. respective documentation
Implementing Early Watch Alerts for system maintenance
Implementing SAP Notes
The support of the Agile coach as a backup for the different time zones
Diving into new technologies - knowledge transfer within the team

What you bring:

Solid hands-on experience with SAP Basis

Experience in SAP Technology (ABAP, Java) and Strategy

Experience in solving of Early Watch Alerts
Experience in implementing SAP Notes
Ability to work effectively in international and virtual teams
Strong communication skills and experience in cross country collaboration
Experience in consulting and customer handling
Capacity to continuously acquire new knowledge in an independent, proactive way
Good analytical and solution-oriented thinking
