Payroll Specialist - German Speaker

• Our client is a multinational company.
• A consolidated and dynamic Shared Service Centre.

• Oversees general ledgers, ensuring accurate recording of all financial transactions & account reconciliations;
• Responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, & cash flow statements. They analyze financial data to provide insights & recommendations;
• Ensure the correct and compliant payroll of EIMEA countries, being knowledgeable of payroll best practices;
• Support Internal Controls and Statutory audits.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or HR;
• Minimum 2-3 years' experience in German payroll and general accounting (multi-countries experience is a plus);
• Proven accounting knowledge, including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and closing activities;
• Knowledge and experience with complex ERP systems [SAP and Blackline preferred] in matrixed organizations;
• Strong working knowledge of software, systems, and technology (Excel and other software);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good organizational skills with the ability to multi-task;
• Presenting and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively in teams;
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work well under deadlines and pressure;
• International mindset and strong customer focus;
• Excellent command of English and German languages;
• Must demonstrate strong security and confidentiality practices.
