And we offer you the freedom to be a positive disrupter and turn big ideas into bold, industry-changing realities.For our business, for clients, and for youHead of Corporate Solutions PortugalRole Location: Lisbon, PortugalDepartment: AccountingEmployment Type: PermanentSummary of role:The role is part of the Apex accounting team reporting to the local Directors based in Lisbon and to the Regional Director of Corporate Solutions.This role will have overall responsibility for client service delivery and improving standards of performance and quality while being responsible for managing the team based in Lisbon.The Role & Key Responsibilities:

Develop and foster key relationships within business / product line and promote an environment of personal development and continuous improvement
Supports Group strategy, plans, and values, contributing to the achievement of a high-performance culture
Ensure stakeholder awareness, engagement, and support through effective and timely communication
Ensure the quality of service delivery to corporate services clients is maintained at all times whilst maintaining a strong risk and governance framework within the team.

Drive strategic dialogue across operations and businesses to prioritize key initiatives

Skills Required:

University degree in accounting or finance
At least 9 years of accounting experience in a professional services firm with significant exposure to Portuguese tax compliance and Portuguese GAAP
Fluent English knowledge (written & conversational)
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Experience with accounting ERP’s and team management
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and propose solutions and make decisions
Strong communication, influence and interpersonal skills
Organized and accurate working methodologies
Certified Accountant (“Contabilista Certificado”) accredited with the Portuguese Accountancy Chamber (“Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados”)
