As a Senior Technical Writer on the Essence Technical Writing team, you will lead the creation and delivery of high-quality documentation across the product lifecycle. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce user-centric content, including release notes, updated guides, and multimedia assets. You’ll also manage the publishing of documentation on the internal portal and drive continuous improvement through innovative tools and user feedback.Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Lead documentation planning, development, and publishing for product releases
Create and maintain user guides, installation manuals, release notes, and other technical content
Publish and manage documentation on the internal document portal
Collaborate with product managers, analysts, engineers, and QA to gather insights and ensure accuracy
Review and modernize legacy documentation to align with current standards
Apply GenAI tools and techniques to enhance content quality and efficiency
Analyze user feedback to improve documentation usability and relevance
Mentor junior writers and contribute to team-wide documentation standards
Develop supplementary content such as presentations, videos, and interactive media
Manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment

Required Experience:

7–8 years of experience in technical writing, with a strong portfolio of customer-facing software documentation
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, English, Publishing, or Content Management
Proficiency in MadCap Flare, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat (PDF)
Experience in financial services or other complex domains preferred
Strong communication, analytical, and project management skills
Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Manual of Style
