We want to get #Betterwithyou!We are looking for a Systems Security Architect to join our Security Strategy & Architecture Team at BIT. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Systems Security Architect's mission is designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our computer systems, networks and cloud environments, aligned with the principles of Zero-Trust design.WHAT WILL MAKE YOUR DAY…Design and implement security architectures for the MC's computer systems and networks;Design, build, and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production cloud environment;Align standards, frameworks, and security with overall business and technology strategy;Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to protect the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of information;Conduct security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies;Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the secure design and development of systems;Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies;Provide guidance and training to staff on information security best practices.WHAT MAKES YOU THE ONE…Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;Proven experience as a Systems or Cloud Security Architect or similar role;Strong understanding of cloud computing technology and infrastructure as well as cloud management platforms;Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) security designs;Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices;Familiarity with various network and host-based security applications and tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, and encryption technologies;Familiarity with industry compliance and security standards including, NIST CSF, NIST SP800-53, QNRCS, NIS 2.0, OWASP, CIS Controls, Mitre Att&ck and ISO 27000 series;Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;Strong communication and interpersonal skills.WHAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE…Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms;Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” and articulate several options, the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation;Ability to work at tactical and strategic level simultaneously.WHAT MAKES US THE BEST CHOICE...
