- You will manage the initial global roll-out of the LayCon layouting tool, including planning, stakeholder alignment, asset development, and user training.
- You will ensure effective adoption by monitoring usage, supporting users, and driving adherence to guidelines.
- You will gradually assume ownership of the full tool landscape for design and engineering, collecting and prioritizing change requests, managing access, and ensuring version control.
- You will lead integration of the layouting tool into downstream processes such as pricing, simulation, PLC programming, and digital twin environments, ensuring a phased and sustainable roll-out.
- You will actively drive digitization by managing smaller AI-enabled or digital innovation projects in parallel with the main tool implementation, in collaboration with internal and external partners.
- You will manage smaller solution design tools (often Excel-based), ensuring structured version control, release management, and training.
- You will track program budgets and progress, providing regular status updates to management and steering committees.
- You have successfully graduated from technical studies (Bachelor or Master's) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical management field.
- You have proven experience as a project or program manager in a complex organization, with strong change management and stakeholder communication skills.
- You have experience in solution design processes within the material handling or adjacent industries (highly beneficial).
- You have affinity with automated material handling solutions and knowledge of 3D CAD systems (Autodesk preferred).
- You have strong analytical skills, a structured and result-oriented way of working, and the ability to manage complex tasks and processes.
- You are a strong communicator and team player, able to motivate, train, and support colleagues across functions and regions.
- You are fluent in English; German is a plus.
- You are open to international collaboration and occasional travel (approx. 25%).
