Offer DescriptionA position is now open for the attribution of 1 Research Grant (BI) for the Produtech R3 from Portugal - Mobilizing Agenda of the Production Technologies Sector for Reindustrialization, Project n.º 60, financed by the European Union NextGeneration through the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (RRM) and the Recovery and Resilience Plan (RRP), on the following conditions:Work Plan and Objectives to Reach - The selected candidate will develop research and development activities within the scope of the project Produtech R3, aiming at the development of a robotic platform cargo transportation within an industrial environment. The candidate tasks will be:- Assist on the structural design of the system;- Integration of components and software;- Development of control software;- Testing of the developed system.Scholarship Duration: this scholarship will last for 6 months, from May 2024 to the end of the project.Application Formalization: candidates must submit their applications through a cover letter stating their reasons to apply, accompanied by a detailed Curriculum Vitae, a copy of the qualifications certificate, tabling curricular units (subjects) and respective grades, proof of course attendance and a copy of the identification document.   • Master's Degree/Integrated Master's Degree (in an area related to the one requested in the announcement);
  • Masters enrolled in courses that do not confer a degree, integrated into the educational project of a higher education institution, (e.g. postgraduate courses, advanced studies, specialized training in an area related to that requested in the announcement).

All the documents must be sent in pdf.Selection methods: The evaluation will consider the candidate's merit, considering academic course, curricular profile and experience in scientific research, mainly in the scientific fields of specialization related with the requirements defined in this fellowship's position offer.Candidate selection will be divided into two stages. While a former stage involving curricular evaluation (60% of the total value) will aim a preliminary screening, a latter one will consist of an interview (40% of the total value), with the goal of producing an ordered list of candidates, in which the selected person occupies the first position, according to the selection criteria previously specified.
