Cloud Infrastructure & Automation:
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (EKS) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for scalable and repeatable deployments.
- Implementation and configuration of HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler) for dynamic scalability.
- Automate deployment and scaling of applications using Helm Charts and YAML manifests.
- Management of namespaces, roles, policies (RBAC), and resource quotas.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild) for rapid integration and testing.
- Manage GitOps workflows with ArgoCD, Rancher, and other automation tools.
- Experience with ECR (Elastic Container Registry) for storage and versioning.
- Implement best practices for continuous integration, testing, and delivery.
- Deploy monitoring solutions with Grafana, Prometheus, and Loki for proactive infrastructure and application insights.
- Set up distributed tracing (Jaeger, OpenTelemetry) for debugging and performance analysis.
- Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM policies, Security Groups (SGs), and network ACLs.
- Integrate security scanning tools (Snyk, Trivy) into pipelines to ensure compliance.
- Configure and manage AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, ALB/NLB load balancers, gateways).
- Optimize and maintain MongoDB Atlas and Redis for scalable and high-performance data storage.
- Work closely with development teams to improve deployment processes and reduce lead time.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, optimizing system performance and reliability.
- Stay up to date with emerging DevOps technologies to drive innovation.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in backend development.
- Ability to break down complex problems, making flowcharts and drive towards a solution.
- Expertise in Node.js.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data stores particularly MongoDB Atlas.
- Experience in developing in a microservices architecture.
- Focus on clean and readable code.
- Ability to work in a team and willingness to work autonomously.
- Complete projects on time.
- Excellent English skills.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in DevOps and AWS Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and container orchestration.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) and automation.
- Hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Proficiency in monitoring and logging solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, OpenTelemetry).
- Solid understanding of AWS cloud networking (VPC, subnets, ALB/NLB, gateways).
- Experience with cloud security best practices (IAM roles, policies, encryption).
- Knowledge of MongoDB Atlas and Redis for scalable and efficient data handling.
- Scripting and programming skills in NodeJS.
- Familiarity with GitOps principles and tools (ArgoCD, Rancher).
- Fluent in English and Portuguese.
- Strong understanding of EV charging infrastructure, EV charging and energy management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent capacity: hands-on and results driven.
- Hybrid work model in Porto. 3 days per week in the office.
- Candidates must reside in Portugal.
