They are currently seeking a talented Naval Architect to join their team and contribute to the design and development of floating offshore wind platforms.DescriptionAs a Naval Architect specializing in floating offshore wind, you will play a key role in the design and engineering of floating wind platforms. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and researchers to develop innovative solutions that maximize the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of floating wind systems.Responsibilities

Participate in the design and development of floating wind platforms, from concept to detailed engineering.
Conduct hydrodynamic analyses and simulations to evaluate the performance of floating platform designs.
Perform structural analyses to ensure the integrity and stability of floating structures in offshore environments.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to integrate design requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Support the development of technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for floating wind platforms.
Provide technical support and expertise throughout the design and engineering process.

Skills & Competencies

Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or related field.
Strong technical knowledge of naval architecture principles and offshore engineering concepts.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Rhino) and hydrodynamic analysis tools (e.g., OrcaFlex, AQWA).
Familiarity with industry codes and standards related to offshore structures and renewable energy.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
