This will ensure driving sustainable and profitable top-line growth and cost efficiency for Sociedade Central de Cervejas e Bebidas.The Business Controller is part of our business control team and works in close cooperation with his stakeholder(s) in and outside of Finance.Who will you report to: Commerce & Strategic Business Control ManagerLocation: VialongaYour Responsibilities:
  • Maximize business performance by challenging and influencing the relevant stakeholders, act as a business partner on a day-to-day basis
  • Provide advice, guidance, and influence/strengthen decision making in the relevant working area.
  • Proactively works with relevant management team(s) to identify, analyses and exploit business opportunities (e.g. new product development, cost saving opportunities), intervene on fundamental issues, and provide financial leadership on (strategic)projects. To do so job holder has a high level of business understanding and builds and maintains relationships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Be able to convince stakeholders based on right facts and arguments, which are placed in the proper problem context.
  • Drive effective collaboration with our Financial shared service center located in Krakow, Poland in order to achieve further process improvements at optimal costs
  • Support the business planning cycle for the 1 to 3-year Strategic, Annual Plans, Operational Plans including providing relevant challenge to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure finance involvement in the S&OP process to secure a cross-functional perspective and alignment with the various Latest Estimates.
  • Monitor and develop insights on the quantitative and qualitative (financial and non-financial) performance of the relevant function and communicate these insights through the preparation and delivery of streamlined reporting including insights.
  • Facilitate target setting, monitor, and challenge performance in the relevant working area.
  • Interpret and report on the results from Functional reporting & KPIs and make the impact of operational indicators on financial figures visible to drive results.
  • Monitor actual cost development vs Budget and provide early warnings on deviations. Present results to the relevant management teams.
We want you to bring:
  • University degree, with preference for Finance, Economics, or management.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience, preferably in Commerce and/or Customer service and Logistics controlling / multinational corporation, FMCG.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Pro-active and self-starting attitude with well-developed business partnering skillset.
  • Team player.
  • Drive for continuous professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly proficient in MS office (Excel); experience with SAP and Power BI is considered advantage.
  • Fluent in both Portuguese and English.
