Job Category: AnalyticsDegree Level: Bachelor's degreeJob Description:In this role, you act as a subject matter expert in your own responsibility area (General PMD Concept), covering the Product Master Data concept and processes and their implementation in PDM applications and related business processes. You will not be directly responsible for the data, neither for actual data management or maintenance but for the development and continuous improvement of the related processes, tools with IT solution architects and developers. You will learn and understand the structure and the data model, as well as the purpose and use of master data elements related to Nokia products and services.You will also be responsible for general PMD related topics such as Access management rules and Data Security. You work closely with business stakeholders and IT counterparts, in order to develop your concept area as per the requirements coming from the users and different business programs, as well as downstream application development projects and company IT strategies.Responsibilities:Your main tasks are to:
  • Learn and develop the data model, data maintenance rules and processes and support IT and Business in the transformation projects
  • Support key users and teams in solving daily issues in data maintenance and data distribution / interfaces
  • Help data stewards and data owners to maintain and improve data quality in your area
  • Document and analyze/validate business requirements, create and maintain concept and process documentation in own responsibility area.
  • Ensure business requirements are correctly understood/captured into IT specifications and IT implementation serves the requirements in the respective tool and process landscape
  • Provide training and advice to users of PDM tools, acting as a subject matter expert contact towards the stakeholders.
Nokia PDM tools are used globally, by thousands of users worldwide, both by Nokia internal employees and external collaboration parties. Concept Owner work is mainly organized into IT development projects, and there can be several projects running parallel. Project team members as well as stakeholders are globally located, and we work mostly in virtual teams.Qualifications:You have:
  • Technical or logistics background and/or work experience in Supply Chain, component management and/or related Master data processes
  • Analytical mind, thoroughness.
  • Effective networking capabilities and comfort in a multicultural environment and virtual teams
  • Good Stakeholder management and Project Management skills
  • Both an individual contributor and team player with an open and transparent communication style
  • Excellent written and oral communication in English
It would be nice if you also had:
  • Experience in complex data management tools and integrations, data migrations
  • (Basic) IT knowledge of application architecture and interfaces
  • ​​Experience / knowledge in SAP S4/HANA supply chain and material master related modules
