In this role, you’ll operate as a senior cross-functional leader responsible for translating strategy into execution and reporting directly to the CEO/Co-founder. You’ll oversee financial health, treasury operations (fiat and crypto), token liquidity, commercial negotiations, as well as supporting the CEO in building relationships with investors and onchain market players. The biggest overall objective will be to get Sweat Foundation to profitability.Key Responsibilities:Lead financial planning, reporting, forecasting and budgeting to ensure financial accuracy and strategic alignment.Oversee treasury operations, ensuring capital efficiency, liquidity management, and risk mitigation across fiat and crypto.Manage relationships with centralized exchanges and token market makers, while utilizing on-chain data analysis to optimize listing strategies and monitor token performance.Support the CEO with data-driven insights and drive strategic planning across financial, operational, and organizational levers.Maintain communication with investors, prepare updates and materials, and support capital raising initiatives.Oversee legal, compliance, and entity management across jurisdictions in coordination with external counsel.Skills and Qualifications:5+ years in start-up finance, strategy or operations (Web3/crypto or fintech experience is a big bonus)Strong experience with budgeting, financial planning, and treasury (crypto + fiat)Understanding of token economics, market making, and on-chain dataProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and scale remote operationsFamiliarity with legal, compliance, and multi-jurisdictional structuresExcellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholdersExperience with financial systems, including XeroProficiency in BI tools such as LookerBonus: Experience with DAO governance, CEX listings, or DeFi protocolsWhat you will get:Remote-friendly & Flexible Working HoursUnlimited PTOApple devices for workWellbeing and learning allowancesHealth insurance allowanceOffice Location: Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹 - ideally based in Lisbon or open to relocating after the probation period.What to Expect in the Hiring Process:Initial interview with HRPeer interview with team membersFinal interview with the CEO/Co-founderReference checks (3-4 contacts)
