At Randstad we are looking for a dynamic Civil Engineer with strong technical skills and ambition to be part of Mimpi´s team in Madeira.Mimpi Madeira is at the exciting launch stage of an integrated real estate, architecture, engineering, and construction group in Madeira. Your mission is to create modern, sustainable, high-end homes that respect the island’s heritage while appealing to an international market.SkillsBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.Valid registration with the Portuguese Engineers’ Association.Experience (academic or professional) in at least structural. Experience in other areas are welcomed.Practical knowledge of Portuguese technical standards and applicable legislation.Familiarity with calculation and technical drawing software.Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and autonomy.Fluency in Portuguese and English.Availability to travel to Madeira (if not already based on the island).Experience with residential or tourism projects in Portugal.Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability.Ability to work in a startup environment, with a hands-on and collaborative mindset.Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in contributing to the growth of a new companyResponsibilitiesDesign and develop structural projects for residential and tourism buildings.Dimension and plan internal hydraulic systems.Ensure acoustic comfort in buildings in compliance with current regulations.Support technical due diligence and the assessment of plots/projects.Work closely with architects, real estate agents, and other team members.Ensure compliance with national and local regulations.Interact with public authorities as needed (licensing, project submissions).Contribute to the definition of the company’s internal technical processes.
