Looker Support Engineer - LisbonCapgemini Portugal is currently looking for a Looker Support Engineer to join one of the world's most prestigious and innovative companies in the luxury industry.Our Client is the owner of prestigious Maisons distinguished by their craftsmanship, creativity, and technological innovation. Our Client's ambition is to nurture the unique heritage and values of its Maisons and businesses, while enabling them to grow and prosper in a responsible, sustainable manner over the long term.To leverage Lisbon's tech spirit and infuse it into its brand-new Tech Competence Centre, our Client is looking to reinforce its technical capabilities on state-of-the-art technology and respond to the growth of their business. Their Lisbon teams will be an extension of its central Group Platforms teams and will be fully integrated in the core technology workforce. They look forward to welcoming their TCC employees and onboarding them on an exciting adventure managing modern solutions and innovative technologies through global, scaled platforms to create business value with pace and agility.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Google Looker platform owner to monitor and keep the Google Looker Platform up to date.Provide daily operational support to business users on LookML, visual dashboards development according to the best practices and enable them to continually improve their projects autonomously.Setup new projects in Looker and help leveraging Hub&Spoke architecture.Liaise with software providers on support and innovation topics.Provide a clear documentation related to the areas under responsibility.Use Jira to manage backlog and priorities.Academic BackgroundUniversity degree in Business Informatics/Information Systems/Management Information Systems.Skills & ExperienceMandatory professional experience with Google Looker and SQL (at least 1-year working experience).Experience with BigQuery and GCP for complex queries developments.Performance tuning (knowledge of monitoring tools & technical solutions to get the best performance).Business consulting and international exposure.Experience with user support is a plus.If you have worked with Power BI, Google Looker, R and have a programming experience - it would be a good asset.Fluent in English, French is nice to have.Desired Personal SkillsProactive interest in technology and innovations.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Multitasking.Service attitude to clients.Team minded.Interview ProcessOur team will actively review all applications.
