The RoleAs a Software Egineer (C++), you'll be part of a team responsible for building and maintaining robust, multithreaded applications that run 24/7. These systems acquire and process meteorological data through both standard and custom protocols, exposing core functionality via RESTful services and Python APIs.Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and maintaining core components in C++
Creating and extending APIs in Python for internal and external use
Collaborating with team members on software architecture and design
Integrating with web services and managing data acquisition pipelines
Contributing to cross-platform development for Linux and Windows environments

O que necessita para ser bem sucedidoWe're looking for someone with 3-5 years of experience in software development who brings:

Advanced proficiency in C++ (including STL, Boost, templates, multithreading, and exception handling)
Experience working in collaborative development environments (corporate or open source)
Strong command of English (C1 level or confident B2)
A curious mindset and willingness to explore the unique domain of meteorological software

Additional strengths that would be advantageous:

Python programming experience
Familiarity with Qt for UI development
Understanding of algorithmic efficiency and memory management
Experience with web services and cloud platforms (especially AWS)
Linux system administration skills
Willingness to travel internationally
