With over 480 employees and 6 working languages, we are a multicultural and a diverse team, operating in Porto and Lisbon, Portugal.We are currently looking for an Accountant (M/F) based in OportoBE PART OF OUR ACCOUNTING TEAMAs an accountant, you will be in charge of several missions whose main objective is to guarantee accounting data in FGAAP and IFRS: day-to-day activity, accounting justification, Balance Sheet and Income Statement analysis.YOUR FUTURE MISSION IN THE ACCOUNTING TEAM

You will contribute directly to the day-to-day activity of the service: you will be in charge of portfolios that will contribute to the production of quarterly accounts; you will be proactive in order to strengthen the automation of existing processes and accelerating the implementation of controls.
You will work in very close collaboration with other departments: finance reporting, IT, actuarial services, internal control…
You will contribute to the reflections and operational implementation of many projects (new business, new activities): you will place the needs of the department at the heart of the exchanges.
Finally, you will contribute to supporting the Management in its transformation by ensuring the sharing of your knowledge, and by ensuring transversality with other transformative projects that impact the Department..

QualificationsAS OUR NEW ACCOUNTANT, YOU MUST HAVE:

Degree in accounting / finance / audit
Professional background about 3/5 years in a equivalent position (preferable)
Fluent in English (C1 level is mandatory)
Fluency in French (B1-B2 level would be a big plus)
Good accounting knowledge – insurance industry knowledge is a plus
Accounting tools (SAP, Oracle, CODA…)
Office tools (excel, word, PowerPoint)
Data tools (SAS, Python…)
