In the role of Finance Manager, you will be responsible for safeguarding the company’s financial integrity and ensuring compliance within the policy, regulatory and contractual framework. This hands-on position is ideal for a professional with strong analytical abilities, commercially driven and a solid grasp of accounting principles. The applicant also needs a strategic approach to financial management. You will work with the Head of Finance and partner across finance and operations teams to drive impactful, cross-functional results. This is an office based role.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage the accounting and financial reporting for the entity in Portugal•Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
  • Guarantee the monthly accounting and reporting, treasury management, credit control, inventory management, forecasts and fiscal responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and corporate governance requirements
  • Collaborate with management, accountants, auditors and vendors to ensure seamless financial processes
  • Provide financial support to other companies in the Colorifix Group
  • Provide financial insights to support long-term business strategies
  • Prepare budgets segregated by processes and departments
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the financial integrity of the organization.
  • Support various HR tasks
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Role Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Previous relevant working experience (4+ years) within financial accounting and/or reporting
  • Strong expertise in Management Accounting and Corporate Finance
  • Deep knowledge of Accounting principles and standards
  • Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system is preferred
  • Microsoft Excel proficient
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese (both oral and written) - mandatory
  • Applicants must have a valid work visa for Portugal
