Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust data pipelines using Cloudera and GCP technologies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and analysts, to understand data requirements and implement effective solutions
Optimize and fine-tune data processes for performance, reliability, and efficiency
Implement and maintain data security and privacy measures to ensure compliance with industry regulations
Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics

Must-Have:

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Cloudera and GCP technologies
Strong proficiency in Apache Hadoop, Spark, and other Cloudera ecosystem tools
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services, including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataprep
Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Would be great if you have:

Cloudera and GCP certification(s)
Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Understanding of DevOps practices in the context of data engineering
