Signify Technology has partnered with an exciting Fintech company whose financial platform has transformed how individuals, companies and financial institutions best handle their assets. The platform has served $130 Billion + worth of client assets across global markets.They are looking for a Junior Scala Developer to join their Portugal based teams working on key elements of the client's platform. You will be working alongside a senior member of the team on an exciting project helping to drive new initiatives, develop new features and enhance current features.The tech stack used is open-source technologies Scala, Akka, Postgres and cloud technologies AWS. Experience with Java is welcomed if your motivated to learn Scala.Requirements

Experience working with Scala and/or Java
Experience with Akka
Experience building APIs
Knowledge or willing to learn about financial products and markets
Excellent communication skills
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
