PHP & JavaScript Developer

• Develop robust and scalable software applications using PHP (Symfony) and JavaScript (React), ensuring high performance and reliability;
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, considering industry best practices and coding standards;
• Conduct comprehensive testing and debugging to guarantee software quality, while optimizing application performance by addressing bottlenecks and inefficiencies;
• Collaborate in code reviews and contribute to the documentation of software designs, technical specifications, and development processes.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other similar area is a plus;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in building scalable distributed production software;
• Hands-on programming experience in PHP and JavaScript, as well as with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, Vue.js, or similar;
• Good knowledge of best practices to follow and ensure code quality;
• Expertise in designing, build, and maintaining high-quality production services;
• Ability to work with various stakeholders from the Netherlands and Porto, so your communication skills need to be awesome;
• Fluency in English is mandatory (both written and spoken).
