About the roleOur Architecture team is leading the design and delivery of the Company Infrastructure solution portfolio.As Infrastructure focused, you will work on planning, coordinating and developing solutions and implementation activities to support the integration of applications and technologies. You will get the opportunity to contribute to and have a positive impact on the organization's Industrial Infrastructure, designing the appropriate building blocks and supporting their integration into application architectures.You will be accountable for:Leadership in Architecture Practice: Lead the architecture for Infrastructure domain, with a focus on Industrial Infrastructure environment (OT, IoT, Edge computing, LoRaWAN, etc.)Ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of IT systems to support continuous industrial operations.Designing IT network architectures to support industrial operations and systems.Designing IoT infrastructure to support connected devices and applications.Collaborating with operations and IT teams to integrate industrial systems with enterprise IT infrastructure.Implementing security measures to protect IoT devices and data.Strategic Collaboration: Collaborate with the Infrastructure Design & Build Manager to propose updates to solution roadmaps and align with strategic goals.Reference Architecture and Efficiency: Define functional and technical reference architecture patterns, balancing cost and efficiency in consultation with service owners.Portfolio Monitoring: Monitor the solution portfolio to identify deficiencies, such as outdated technologies or misalignment with business requirements.Lifecycle Accountability: Coordinate the technical lifecycle of the platform, informing service owners about the technology replacement roadmap and decisions.End-of-Life Support: Aid product managers in decisions regarding the maintenance, refresh, or retirement of services, systems, and technologies.Consultation and Design Alignment: Consult on infrastructure and application projects to ensure alignment with the overall architecture and modify designs as needed.Architectural Design and Guidance: Create architectural designs to support product, service, and system development, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and project execution plans.We offer a permanent contract based on hybrid working mode.About youBachelor degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study.Relevant work experience of minimum five years in at least five IT solution development disciplines, including technical and infrastructure architecture, industrial architecture, operational technology, network management, application development, middleware, database management or cloud development, with exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments. * Competencies:Extensive expertise in integrating OT systems with IT networks while maintaining security and operational integrity.Experienced in implementing security measures to ensure continuity, such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems, in compliance with standards like IEC 62443.Expert in designing robust IoT infrastructure solutions to support seamless connectivity and data flow in industrial and enterprise environments.Deep knowledge of IoT communication protocols, to enable efficient device integration and data exchange.Deep knowledge of OT protocols and technologies, such as SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and industrial Ethernet, to support critical system functionality.Advanced proficiency in integrating IoT platforms with cloud services, such as AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub, or for scalable data management.Extensive expertise in ITIL processes, as well as installing soft- and hardware to process data locally and optimize system performance.Hybrid cloud environment (Azure, AWS, On Premise Hosting).Active Directory / Entra ID / DNS; OSWindows Server / LinuxDatabase : Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, PostGreNetwork protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLANS)IT security (TLS, FW …)ITIL service management processesTechnical and Management Expertise: Proficient in system development methodologies (e.g., agile, DevOps), ITSM, ITIL, and hybrid cloud architecture, with strong planning, analytical, and communication skills.Strategic and Emerging Trends: Experienced in applying emerging technologies and supporting agile teams with guidance on risks, opportunities, and architectural decisions. * Behaviors:Influence and Communication: Skilled in influencing stakeholders, navigating organizational dynamics, and articulating ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences.Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Proficient in balancing long-term vision with short-term needs, translating business capabilities into architecture requirements, and estimating financial impacts.Technical Adaptability: Quick to understand new technologies and apply creative and analytical problem-solving to propose effective solutions.About the pay and benefits

Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the Portugal base pay reasonably expected for this role is 46 720 euros to 73 000 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
