This is a remote position.Job Title: IT Manager (Cloud & Infrastructure | German Speaker)Location: Remote – Based in Portugal or EUWork Regime: Full-time & RemoteOverview / Summary:We are looking for an experienced IT Manager to lead the restructuring of our client's IT and Datacenter teams. This project aims to align and integrate two currently separate departments — Internal IT and Client-Focused Datacenter Ops — by introducing a unified leadership vision and implementing best practices across systems, infrastructure, and cloud operations.If you’re a hands-on leader with technical depth, fluent in German and English, and with a track record of guiding cross-border teams through transformation, we invite you to bring your expertise to this strategic mission.Responsibilities and Tasks:

Lead the integration and restructuring of IT and Datacenter teams

Define and implement best practices in system and infrastructure management

Align and optimize processes across on-premises and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Oracle)

Provide strategic and operational guidance to IT and Datacenter staff

Support and supervise daily operations of internal infrastructure (IT) and client infrastructure (Datacenter)

Ensure high standards in network security, disaster recovery, and system reliability

Communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Recommend and guide the adoption of modern technologies and tools

Collaborate closely with international team members in Germany and Portugal

RequirementsMandatory Requirements:Education:

Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or equivalent area

Experience:

Proven leadership in managing technical teams (IT and/or Datacenter)

Solid experience with systems and infrastructure (Windows, Linux, LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, VLANs, Switches)

Proficiency in cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, Oracle Cloud)

Network security, backups, and disaster recovery expertise

Interpersonal skills:

Strong leadership and team coordination capabilities

Strategic thinking and ability to drive transformation

Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

Languages:

Fluency in German and English (mandatory)

Portuguese (preferred)

Tech Stack:

Windows / Linux systems

Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud

Networking (LAN/WAN/VPN), Firewalls, VLANs

Datacenter technologies and tools

Complementary Requirements:

Experience with AI and/or Product Management is a plus

Previous consulting experience in IT transformation projects
